Ayurvedic medicine, is an ancient holistic healing system that originated in India thousands of years ago. The word "Ayurveda" is derived from the Sanskrit language, where "Ayur" means life, and "Veda" means knowledge. This comprehensive system of medicine not only addresses illness but also emphasizes the maintenance of overall well-being by harmonizing the mind, body, and spirit.

Ayurveda recognizes that each person is unique, with a distinctive blend of physical, mental, and emotional characteristics. The concept of Prakriti involves identifying an individual's inherent constitution, or dosha, which is a combination of Vata (air and space), Pitta (fire and water), and Kapha (earth and water).

Health, according to Ayurveda, is a state of balance among the doshas. Imbalances rooted in diet, lifestyle, stress, and environmental changes, can lead to various health issues. Ayurvedic practices aim to restore this balance through personalized treatments, diet modifications, and lifestyle adjustments.
